Heartily Welcome you in Himalayan Unforgettable Adventure!

The former Himalayan kingdom of Mustang is an arid and starkly beautiful land. Long protected from mass tourism, its allure has come from its inaccessibility and its reputation as the last bastion of traditional Tibetan culture. For centuries the kingdom channeled the wealth it amasses as a conduit for trade with Tibet into its monasteries, creating some of the finest remaining frescos in the Tibetan world.

The capital, Lo Manthang is an old walled town still undisturbed and untouched by western civilization. Daily life is much as it has been over the centuries. Lo Manthang is the highlight of this trek and there is enough in and around the city to see to keep you occupied for a couple of days. The Upper Mustang Trekking,  Upper Mustang trek itinerary, and a different cost. The permit for Mustang cost a minimum of 500USD per person for 10 days and you have to trek as part of an organized group of a minimum of 2 people. Himalayan Unforgettable Adventures arranges the Mustang Trek from May to October. All our trekking guide and porters are experienced, licensed and covered by insurance.
