Show All DetailsTrekking around Dhaulagiri, the 8th highest mountain stands for an adventure into the wild. This trek has been designed to capture the best of Nepal's most popular trekking region, while avoiding the heavy traffic of the Annapurna Sanctuary trails. It's nevertheless a demanding and remote wilderness trek that completes a challenging circuit around the massif. Few trekkers have explored the far side of Dhaulagiri and had the satisfaction of completing this outstanding trek. The Dhaulagiri trek has you crossing two challenging high mountain passes, which are the French Pass at 5360m and the Thapa Pass at 5200m. The Dhaulagiri Circuit can be immensely rewarding as you are walking through the most beautiful scenery the world has on offer, though you do need a sense of adventure and an increased ability to deal with unexpected.

Day to day outline itinerary
- Day 01:Arrive at Tribubhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel, welcome dinner in the evening.
- Day 02:Sightseeing in and around Kathmandu (Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square), preparation for the trek.
- Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Beni by bus
- Day 04:Beni- Babiyachour
- Day 05:Babiyachour - Darbang
- Day 06:Durbang to Takam
- Day 07:Takam to Muri
- Day 08:Muri to Boghara
- Day 09:Boghara to Dobang
- Day 10:Dobang to Italian Base Camp
- Day 11:Acclimatization day at the Italian Base Camp
- Day 12:Italian Base Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp
- Day 13:Dhaulagiri Base Camp-French Pass- Hidden Valley
- Day 14:Hidden Valley- Thapa Pass - Yak Kharka
- Day 15:Yak Kharka to Tukuche
- Day 16:Tukuche to Ghasa

- All airport/hotel/land transfers by private or public vehicle unless otherwise requested
- Accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast.

- Sightseeing tours in Kathmandu, Paten and Bhaktapur including a tour guide and entrance fees (if the option is chosen)
- Experienced trek leader, assistant guide and Sherpa porters including their salaries, insurance, equipment, flight, food and accommodation.
- All necessary permits (national park entrance fee, TIMS).
